Foundation Huacaya Alpacas

This was exactly what we were hoping for when we bred our CHAMPION roan female, Millie, to CHAMPION black male, Ovation. Zia is a true black beauty with plenty of spunk and personality!! We're excited to watch this young female mature and develop with high hopes that she'll follow in the footsteps of her champion dam and granddam, both valued members of our foundation herd.

Lulu is a beautiful female whose colour story is still unfolding. While her final shade remains a mystery, her exceptional phenotype, presence and sweet personality are already shining through. She is an intriguing young female who has certainly captured our attention!!

Hazel was a much-anticipated cria. Her excitement stems not only from being the offspring of two multi-champions but also because she is the first cria born to a dam who was born here. Namaari kept us waiting for 377 days, but every moment was worth it! As the smallest cria we’ve had so far, she is a delightful little bundle adorned with tiny spirals! Following in her parents' footsteps, Hazel won FIRST in a competitive class of 6 at the Alpaca Ontario Spring Show, followed by a RESERVE CHAMPION ribbon against light females of all ages. Pretty impressive for her first time in the show ring!! What's not to love about Hazel?!!

Daughter to 7x GREY CHAMPION Arriba Adonis!! Wilona is a knockout! In her first year of showing, she came out on top winning TWO Black Championships (male and female combined). Judges were particularly impressed with the character and uniformity of her fleece. Unfortunately she couldn't show in her second year due to COVID. Outside the show ring she is a curious, easy going girl that tends to get spoiled with extra treats! Wilona's first three offspring are all multiple GREY CHAMPIONS!!! Not only does Wilona produce the most spectacular greys, she stamps her signature head style with tons of fleece coverage on each one. Wilona was awarded the FIRST PLACE BANNER in PRODUCE OF DAM at the Royal Winter Fair in 2024 showcasing two of her stunning ROAN progeny, Millie and Pacey. After a year off, Wilona travelled to Quebec for a special breeding to Ariya Pure Blackout de Charlevoix. We weren't sure if we'd get black this time or another grey, but we ended up with fawn!!! For her 5th cria, we paired Wilona with our very own Supreme Champion, Dawson, and she produced another stunner! We already see so much potential in this young lady.

During the careful selection of our foundation herd, Charm was an obvious choice. She is just one of those females that has the "it" factor. She is perfectly proportioned with an exquisite head style and a dense, dark mahogany fleece. Charm has given us TWO exceptional coloured girls that are both CHAMPIONS!! After a year of rest, we bred Charm to Yukon Gold and she did not disappoint! We are thrilled with the arrival of her third cria, Dawson. An eye-catching fawn who has won our hearts and those of the judges! At 15 months, Dawson won male fawn CHAMPION and SUPREME CHAMPION at the Rockton World's Fair! Charm's 4th cria is a light brown boy out of our white herdsire Nyko. Once again, Charm is the perfect mother and Mac is a handsome fella! This girl is on FIRE -- 4/4 CHAMPION offspring for Charm and both of her sons are SUPREME CHAMPIONS!!!

Charlee is one of our much anticipated Gangster crias! A beautiful medium brown female from this pairing is exactly what we were hoping for! Charlee has personality plus and is a farm favourite with the visitors! She loves attention and selfies!! Charlee won FIRST PLACE in her class and went on to win the BROWN CHAMPION (combined male and female) at NAVAN! We always knew Charlee was a champion and now she has the ribbon to prove it!! Judge Kevin O'Leary complimented Charlee on her stature and impeccable conformation. He described her fleece as "highly dense, highly uniform and consistent along the staple...three traits that you want in your breeding program!" Charlee's first cria is here...arriving just 2 hours after her mom, Charm, delivered! Those girls had us on our toes! We bred Charlee to Arriba Amplified in hopes of producing a black offspring and that's exactly what we got! Espresso or "Spro" is a spunky guy! Don't let those copper tips fool you, he's black under there! Charlee has followed in Charm's footsteps as an easy birther, easy milker and exceptional mom.

As the first cria born on our farm, we're definitely biased with what a gem she is! Pebble is a gorgeous LSG with only 1 spot of colour on an otherwise solid blanket. She has an incredible substance of bone, a wide poll, beautiful bright fleece and the most adorable face - she truly looks like a life sized teddy bear! Pebble won FIRST PLACE in her class at NAVAN! The judge commended her for being a solid, well grown yearling with an impressive first fleece. Unfortunately, there wasn't a grey championship at this show. Pebble's streak continued at ROCKTON winning FIRST PLACE in her class and COLOUR CHAMPION (combined male/female). After winning her second COLOUR CHAMPIONSHIP at the Alpaca Quebec show in 2023 the judge said, "she's really just a beautiful girl; well put together." Showing as a 2 year old at the Navan Fair in August, Pebble took home the RESERVE CHAMPION (combined male/female)! And she ended off the 2023 showing season with another FIRST PLACE and RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP at the Royal Winter Fair!! Making this decision hasn't been easy, but since we're not breeding for grey, we've decided to offer this beautiful girl for sale. She deserves the opportunity to contribute to a grey or black breeding program where her exceptional genetics and stunning silver fleece can be fully appreciated.

Daughter of Supreme Champion, Red Granites Pallaton, now residing in Poland! These genetics are VERY LIMITED in Canada! Remarkable right from birth with twists and twirls of fleece on a solid 20lb frame! Not only is Namaari developing into a phenomenal young female, she is also a total sweetheart (fitting as the meaning of her name is "truly pure heart") We are incredibly proud of Namaari's debut at the Alpaca Quebec spring show! She won FIRST PLACE in the juvenile female fawn class and went on to win the COLOUR CHAMPION!! Judge Wade Gease credited Namaari for "producing loads of fleece that was both fine and uniform, as well as having a great body structure - a real stunner!!" Namaari finished FIRST in a competitive class of 7 at the Rockton World's Fair and continued on to win RESERVE CHAMPION in a combined male/female class behind the best in show winner!! Judge Cathy Merkley was particularly impressed with how tight and uniform her crimp was along the entire staple commenting that these fleeces are the ones most likely to maintain fineness with age. Namaari's winning streak has continued in 2023 with a RESERVE CHAMPION win at the Alpaca Quebec show in April and a COLOUR CHAMPIONSHIP at the Navan Fair in August. We took Namaari to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in November of 2023 and she won FAWN CHAMPION!! Judge, Stephanie Glyptis, commended Namaari on her strength of frame and overall conformation, excellent length of staple with a great deal of organization along the staple and consistent in micron across her blanket. With her incredible show career behind her, we were excited to transition her into our breeding program. One of a Kind was always on our radar for Namaari's first breeding and we are thrilled to finally announce, after 377 days gestation, that she had a GIRL! This light bundle of curls was totally worth the wait and Namaari is completely smitten!!

Paternal sister to MULTI champion Namaari, we have been in awe of this spunky girl since the day she was born! She's quirky, but she's one of the first to greet visitors and pose for selfies. And if you're lucky you might even get a snuggle! Shucks' fleece is considered "ultrafine" with an incredibly soft handle. She placed amongst the TOP 10% in EPDs for Average Fiber Diameter (AFD) and Spin Fineness (SF) with her first fleece. Her second fleece results are equally impressive - AFD 15.2, SD 3.3 and CF 100%. She ranks as one of the finest females in our herd with an AFD of 20.3 microns for her 4th fleece!!! During her showing career, she was awarded SECOND PLACE in the walking fleece competition at Rockton Fair amongst numerous light animals of all ages and another SECOND PLACE in a very competitive light class at the Navan Fair (with her second fleece).

What do you get when you combine two black champions? A modern grey or roan of course!! Wilona loves to produce grey and we're more than okay with it (especially when she produces such amazing offspring!). Millie is blossoming into an exceptional young female and it looks like the judges agree! "She is well grown and very well proportioned for her age with a beautiful strong frame. Very nice head style." To date, Millie has won 3 CHAMPIONSHIPS and continues to impress us. Just like her older sister, she knows that she's a queen!!! Millie's first cria, sired by MULTI BLACK CHAMPION Arriba Ovation, has arrived and she's a true black beauty!!! Millie is a very attentive first time mom, and little Zia is as good as they get!!

One look at this girl and you're hooked! She immediately catches your eye with her dark points, impressive head style and solid conformation. Winnie has quickly become a favourite with our visitors because of her super fuzzy ears and calm demeanor. I would suspect that she has been in the most selfies!! During her show career, Winnie placed FIRST in both the halter and walking fleece shows at the Rockton Fair with the judge commending her for being very strong phenotypically - having good circumference of bone and good capacity in her chest. He also really liked her head style and the fact that she had excellent coverage of fleece all the way down to her toes! Winnie takes another FIRST place at the Alpaca Ontario Spring Show! She is a "very well conformed alpaca with good substance of bone and she moves very well. Good staple length and nice crimp definition that is uniformly expressed across the blanket." We absolutely LOVE everything about this young lady and can't wait to create a MINI WINNIE!!
